Bando di residenze artistiche del Teatro del Lemming

Per ricerca teatrale si intende non un sottogenere teatrale ma la proposta di un lavoro in grado di realizzare una reale sperimentazione sulla drammaturgia (intesa come scrittura scenica), sull’attore, sullo spettatore e sullo spazio teatrale.

Il progetto di residenza può essere costituito dalla presentazione di uno o più spettacoli, da un periodo di prove o di laboratorio o da tutte queste cose insieme. Si raccolgono proposte di partecipazione formate esclusivamente da una relazione scritta con il proprio programma di residenza e una documentazione video – meglio se attraverso link a materiale on line – del proprio recente lavoro.

Ogni gruppo o artista selezionato sarà ospitato in residenza in un periodo concordato direttamente con gli artisti. Il Teatro del Lemming garantirà agli artisti selezionati l’assistenza tecnica e logistica ed un eventuale cachet da concordare. L’artista o gruppo selezionato dovrà necessariamente pensare ad una forma di restituzione del proprio lavoro da presentare pubblicamente.
Il ciclo di residenze intende aprirsi a più generazioni teatrali, mettendo in relazione giovani gruppi con maestri della scena nazionale ed internazionale.

Nel solco di quanto premesso, la selezione avrà come criterio quello dettato dal riconoscimento di una forma di espressione compiuta e da una innovativa idea di teatro. L’esito della selezione sarà reso noto su www.teatrodellemming.it entro la fine di luglio.

Questo ciclo di residenze è realizzato grazie al sostegno della Fondazione Cassa di Risparmio di Padova e Rovigo poiché è risultato vincitore del bando CulturalMente Impresa.

CALL FOR ENTRIES • residences for experimental theatre

Teatro del Lemming belives that residences are the right way to house, plan and record the work process of any theatrical experimentation. This is the reason why Teatro del Lemming is going to plan at Teatro Studio (Rovigo, Italy) a cycle of residences, opened to groups or artists that practice experimental theatre throughout Europe.

Experimental Theater is not a byproduct of institutional theatre, but a work that really experiments with the dramaturgy (interpreted as scenic composition), the actor, the spectator and the scenic space. The project of residence could be composed by the showing of one or more productions, by a workshop or a period of rehearsals, or by both these possibilities. The application has to contain an artistic form that explains the project and the programme of the residence; a video documentation of the applicant’s recent work – ideally online.

Each selected group or artist is going to be hosted at Teatro Studio of Rovigo (Italy) for a period that is going to be arranged together with the artists. Teatro del Lemming is going to offer technical and logistical support and a fee that has to be agreed with each group/artist. The selected artist/group has to include in his project the showing to the spectators of the work realized during the residence.

This cycle of residencies is opened to different theatrical generations, putting in relation young groups with important directors of national and international theatre.
As above mentioned, the parameter of the selection would be the presence of an accomplished artistic manner and of an innovative idea of theatre.The result of the selection is going to be published on www.teatrodellemming.it by the end of July.
