We are pleased to inform you that TRENOff is calling for artists for the Prize Metti in Moto la Cultura. Thanks to Artistic Directors of the festival Instabili Vaganti, TRENOff pioneers the first Fringe Festival in Bologna, where it will take place on the 8th and 9th of September.
Artists of all disciplines are invited to submit their application by the 31st of July 2017.
Either individual artists or companies and collectives are invited to apply, with projects ranging from the performing arts, through installations, to multidisciplinary happenings, visual arts, music, street art, and site-specific performances. The projects might engage with different audiences, either adults, young people and children, and they will be able to establish a close relationship with the unconventional spaces made available by the Artistic Direction. The proposals also need to adhere to the key themes of the second edition of the Festival.
The initiative aims to build, within the architectural and social framework of TRENO – a residential complex on the outskirts of the city which shape reminds us of train compartments – an agora’ of languages, visions and encounters. This will bring back the periphery to the heart of socio-cultural discourse, and invites artists to rise to the challenge of inclusion and dialogue, out of the comfort-zone of conventional theatre halls and auditoriums.
